ROBBERY / MENACING ASSIST

While Webster Police conducted surveillance, an MCSO deputy monitored ALPR information and relayed the approaching vehicle’s location and direction. Webster Police were able to stop the vehicle and take the suspect into custody.

MISSING PERSON LOCATED

Daughter called for missing father with Parkinson’s, last heard from the day prior. RIOC ran LPR for multiple registered vehicles and found a hit for a red Mazda entering the Greece Town complex three hours prior. The male was ultimately located.

STOLEN JEEP — FIVE IN CUSTODY

An overnight ALPR hit alerted deputies to a stolen Jeep. Within minutes, deputies located it and safely took all five occupants into custody

WANTED PERSON LOCATED

A deputy used prior ALPR hits to anticipate where a wanted person’s vehicle might appear. The deputy positioned nearby, observed the vehicle, and made the arrest.

MISSING PERSON - LOCATED

Daughter called regarding her father not coming home when he was supposed to and stated no one at his usual hang out spots had seen him. RIOC was able to find him on LPR SB on 250 at Fairport RD approximately 30 minutes prior. On star was then used to give additional real time tracking to be able to locate the male.

STOLEN TRAILER RECOVERED

Deputies ran the stolen trailer plate through the ALPR system and found an image showing it attached to a pickup. Investigators traced the truck, located the trailer, and returned it to the business.

STOLEN VEHICLE - FOUR IN CUSTODY

An ALPR hit on a stolen truck helped deputies locate it near Route 390 and Chili Avenue. Four occupants were taken into custody without incident; drugs and outstanding warrants were also addressed.

BANK SCAM

Published July 14, 2026

Wife reported to her husband that the bank had called regarding fraudulent activity in their account and she was going there to take care of it. Husband then received notification that wife had withdrawn $10,000. RIOC was able to locate the wife’s vehicle in Brockport near multiple banks and deputies stepped out with her to alert her it was likely a scam. Unfortunately, she had already made one bad transaction.

SUICIDAL PERSON

A 911 caller reported that her father was suicidal and potentially armed with multiple firearms. After identifying his vehicle, deputies located it in the Town of Chili using License Plate Readers (LPRs). LPR images were shared with patrol units, allowing deputies to locate the individual and safely transport him to a hospital for evaluation and care.

STOLEN VEHICLE + GHOST GUN

A mobile ALPR alert on a stolen vehicle was immediately relayed to Rochester Police. Officers located it within minutes, took three adults into custody, and recovered a non-serialized polymer firearm along with fentanyl and drug paraphernalia.
