Scottsville, NY (December 8, 2022) The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office arrested a man early Monday morning, after he threatened to shoot co-workers at CooperVision, in the Village of Scottsville. Dinesh Subedi, 24, of Henrietta, was found in possession of a loaded 9mm Ghost gun in the parking lot of the business.
On December 5, 2022 at about 2:39 in the morning, deputies responded to 711 North Road, in the Village of Scottsville, for an employee behaving erratically. Upon arrival, deputies were told Mr. Subedi was asked by management to leave the location due to his behavior. Preliminary investigation revealed Subedi intended to shoot two other employees as they left the business. Subedi then allegedly waited in the parking lot for the employees to leave work, when he was confronted by deputies. This is a perfect example of “See Something, Say Something,” as the suspicious activity was observed and notifications were made to authorities. Thankfully, deputies were able to intervene before tragedy struck. While speaking with Subedi, deputies discovered a loaded 9mm pistol without a serial number on his person
Dinesh Subedi is charged with:
- Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Second Degree (Class C-Felony)
Mr. Subedi was arraigned in Henrietta Town Court and remanded to the Monroe County Jail on $25,000 cash, $100,000 bond, $300,000 partially secured bond.
