Henrietta, NY (March 13, 2023) On March 11, 2023, at 1:45 in the morning, Monroe County Sheriff’s deputies responded to 1200 Marketplace Drive in the Town of Henrietta for a reported burglary. The Emergency Communications Department (ECD) dispatcher told responding deputies that witnesses described the suspect as a man wearing a blue jacket and carrying a brown bag. Upon arrival, deputies noticed that someone had shattered the glass entry door and they saw footprints in the snow leading toward an apartment complex. Deputies set up a perimeter and an MCSO K9 unit started tracking the suspect from Walmart. A short time later, a deputy located a man in the area matching the description given. MCSO identified the man as Joshua R. Lotkowictz, 28, of Henrietta and transported him to Walmart for investigation.
Mr. Lotkowictz is charged with:
- Burglary in the third degree (Class D-Felony)
- Criminal Mischief in the third degree (Class E-Felony)
He was arraigned in Henrietta Town Court and released to Pre-Trial Release.
