At 6:00 a.m. on October 31, 2024, Monroe County Sheriff’s deputies conducted a search warrant at a residence on West Avenue in the Village of Hilton. This was the product of a lengthy investigation into the criminal behavior of two convicted felons and their illegal possession of firearms. Deputies detained the two suspects and found various unsecured firearms inside the house, which included a loaded AR-15 rifle with a high-capacity magazine, a defaced, loaded .22 pistol, a loaded 20-gauge shotgun and a loaded .410 shotgun. Two women and two children living in the house were not charged. Several motorcycles, two of which are determined to be stolen, a dirt bike, a four-wheeler, and an SUV are being held for further investigation.

Christopher A. Bosley, 54, of Hilton is charged with:

  • Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Second Degree (Class C-Felony)
  • Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Third Degree (Class D-Felony) (4 Counts)
  • Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Fourth Degree (Class A-Misdemeanor) (2 Counts)

Jensen R. Gonzalez, 36, of Hilton is charged with:

  • Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Fourth Degree (Class A-Misdemeanor)

Bosley was arraigned in Parma Town Court and remanded to the Monroe County Jail on $50,000 cash or $200,000 bond.

Gonzalez was issued an appearance ticket for the above charge and is being detained in the Monroe County Jail as a result of a federal probation warrant.

The coordination among MCSO SWAT, the Drone Response Team, investigators, and deputies during a high-risk arrest, ensuring the safety of the community and residents, is deserving of recognition.
