Between the evening of May 22, 2024 and the morning of May 23, 2024, Monroe County Sheriff's deputies responded to three reports of burglaries in the Town of Parma. Throughout the course of the investigation, deputies gathered information showing a white pickup truck with a New York State license plate and a broken driver side tail light was involved in the series of burglaries. On the morning of May 23, 2024, an MCSO deputy assigned to the U.S. Marshals Task Force discovered the white pickup truck at a house on Berlin Street in the City of Rochester. The MCSO Warrant and Tactical Units aided in the investigation and detention of seven individuals. One individual was found to be unlawfully in possession of a loaded 9mm pistol.
Following thorough interviews, four individuals were arrested in relation to the burglaries. Deputies successfully seized a significant amount of stolen property from the residence on Berlin Street, which included two ATVs, a dirt bike, a .22 caliber rifle, and accompanying ammunition.
Miguel Corchado, 23, of Rochester is charged with:
- Burglary in the Second Degree (Class C-Felony)
- Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Second Degree (Class C-Felony – 2 Counts)
- Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Third Degree (Class D-Felony – 2 Counts)
- Grand Larceny in the Fourth Degree (Class E-Felony)
- Criminal Mischief in the Fourth Degree (Class A-Misdemeanor)
Luis J. Feliciano, 20, of Rochester is charged with:
- Burglary in the Second Degree (Class C-Felony)
- Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Second Degree (Class C-Felony)
- Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Third Degree (Class D-Felony)
- Grand Larceny in the Fourth Degree (Class E-Felony)
- Criminal Mischief in the Fourth Degree (Class A-Misdemeanor)
Javari D. Ford, 19, of Rochester is charged with:
- Burglary in the Second Degree (Class C-Felony)
- Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Second Degree (Class C-Felony)
- Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Third Degree (Class D-Felony)
- Grand Larceny in the Fourth Degree (Class E-Felony)
- Criminal Mischief in the Fourth Degree (Class A-Misdemeanor)
Jeffrey C. Sapp Jr., 23, of Rochester is charged with:
- Burglary in the Second Degree (Class C-Felony)
- Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Second Degree (Class C-Felony)
- Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Third Degree (Class D-Felony)
- Grand Larceny in the Fourth Degree (Class E-Felony)
- Criminal Mischief in the Fourth Degree (Class A-Misdemeanor)
The four individuals were arraigned in Ogden Town Court for their involvement in the burglaries. Corchado was remanded to the Monroe County Jail with no bail due to his predicate felon status. Sapp, Ford, and Feliciano are being held in MCJ on $20,000 cash bail.
The investigation is continuing, and additional charges may be forthcoming.
