On September 26, 2024 at approximately 3:00 p.m., Monroe County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the Target store, located at 1381 Chili Ave. in the town of Chili, for the report of two known larcenists in the store. Target Loss Prevention recognized the pair as individuals who had stolen from the store in the past, and immediately called 911. The individuals, later identified as Theresa Rivera and Bily Aquinopantaleon, passed the point of sale with $975.96 worth of merchandise. A quick response by our deputies led to both individuals taken into custody.

Deputies transported Rivera and Aquinopantaleon to our C-Zone substation where they subsequently charged them with this crime, as well as a larceny the pair committed on August 22, 2024. In that incident, Rivera and Aquinopantaleon stole $159.89 worth of merchandise from the Chili Target. Deputies also charged Rivera with stealing $169.28 worth of groceries from the same store on September 8, 2024.

Theresa Rivera, 32, of Rochester is charged with:

  • Three counts of Petit Larceny (Class A – Misdemeanor)

Bily Aquinopantaleon, 34, of Rochester is charged with:

  • Two counts of Petit Larceny (Class A – Misdemeanor)

Both Rivera and Aquinopantaleon were issued appearance tickets. Great job by our deputies for the arrest of these repeat offenders.
