On Thursday, July 10, 2025, just before 11:00 p.m., Monroe County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the Hilton Fire Department Carnival grounds (South Ave., Hilton – Town of Parma) for the report of a fight. Prior to on-site security and deputies’ arrival, the fight had dispersed, however deputies received information that one of the males involved in the fight was going to return with a gun.

Astute deputies then observed several large groups of people scattering in all directions on the carnival grounds and approached the area. A woman approached deputies and told them two individuals threatened her son with a gun, and one of them pointed a gun in her face. Our deputies immediately established a perimeter, gathered additional information and located and detained an individual, matching the description of the man who threatened a weapon. Thanks to a deputy’s keen interview skills and the ability to establish a rapport with the individual, deputies were able to search his vehicle and discovered a loaded .38 caliber semi-automatic handgun with six rounds under the driver’s seat.

As the investigation continued, a male matching the description of the second suspect, showed up at the scene to retrieve his phone. Deputies arrested and charged him as well.

Dominic Session, 18, of Greece is charged with:

  • Criminal Possession of a Weapon 2nd (Class C-Felony)
  • Menacing 2nd (Class A-Misdemeanor)

A 17-year old juvenile is charged with:

  • Menacing 2nd (Class A-Misdemeanor)

Session was arraigned in CAP Court on the CPW 2nd charge and released on electronic monitoring through pre-trial.  Both Session and the juvenile were issued appearance tickets for the Menacing charges.

While deputies were processing the above scene, carnival on-site security notified deputies of an unruly intoxicated male that had bitten security and was subsequently handcuffed. Deputies responded and placed the individual in a patrol car, arresting him for Assault 3rd (Class A-Misdemeanor). The individual was causing self-harm while in the patrol car, to include injuries, and was taken to a local hospital for evaluation.

Andrew Pasch, 34, of Clarkson is charged with:

  •      Assault 3rd (Class A-Misdemeanor)
  •      Disorderly Conduct (Violation)

Deputies issued Pasch an appearance ticket.

Excellent work by our deputies handling both chaotic scenes simultaneously, and taking all suspects into custody. A special thank you to the deputy who worked delicate skills, developing a rapport with Session, in order to take a loaded handgun off the property.
