PL / Target 2161 Fairport Nine Mile Pt. Rd. / 25-9632
Target’s Loss Prevention reported a man in a camo hat, green jacket, blue jeans, and gray shoes carrying a suitcase on the sales floor at 9:49 a.m. on January 15, 2025. He selected a number of men’s clothing items and packed them into his suitcase. Security confronted a man who had stolen $547.91 worth of men’s clothing from a suitcase. The male dropped the suitcase full of property and left the location. Deputies located and detained 57-year-old Ricky Jackson, who had five outstanding Penfield Town Court warrants. (PL, Burglary 3rd / PL X 2, Trespassing, and Bail Jumping 2nd) He was arraigned on everything in Penfield Court and remained to the Monroe County Jail.

Grand Larceny 4th / Harvest Ridge Trl. / 25-001514
The victim reports between 6:00 p.m. on 01/01/25 and noon on 01/02/25, an unknown suspect stole his Venmo Debit Card, Advantage Credit Card and Apple Air Pods from inside of his 2017 Hyundai Elantra. The vehicle was unlocked and there were no cameras in the area. There were no charges on the credit/debit cards. The victim states his AirPods' last location was on Rogers Ave. in the city of Rochester. He contacted RPD, who checked the location with negative results.
Petit Larceny / 3150 W Henrietta Rd (Kohl’s) / 25-004425
On 01/07/24, deputies responded to the above location for a larceny report. Kohl’s Asset Protection reports on 01/04/25, an unknown male suspect (beard, black beanie, brown jacket) entered the store and stole $540 worth of merchandise. The male was seen leaving the location in a black Mitsubishi Outlander.
Grand Larceny 4th / 400 Jay Scutti Blvd (BJ’s) / 25-004503
On 01/07/25, deputies responded to the above location for a larceny report. BJ’s Asset Protection reports between 12/21/24 and 01/05/25, an employee was seen on video stealing $2,610.07 from the cash register. BJ’s also interviewed the employee who confessed to stealing the money.
Burglary 3rd/PL / 1200 Marketplace Dr (Walmart) / 25-005133
On 01/08/24, deputies responded to the above location for the report of a larceny in progress. Walmart Asset Protection reports a man, later identified as Robert Guido, entered the store and stole $365.09 worth of merchandise. Guido was taken into custody without incident and it was learned he had previously been banned from all Walmart stores. Henrietta Town Court was contacted and requested that Guido be released on an appearance ticket.
Attempted Grand Larceny 3rd/ Criminal Mischief 4th / 400 Jefferson Rd. / 25-007724
Sometime between 6:00 p.m. on 1/11/25 and 11:00 a.m. on 1/12/25 an unknown suspect attempted to steal a 2022 Hyundai Accent owned by Bill’s Carpet Center. The suspect ripped off the driver's side door handle and damaged the ignition.
Grand Larceny 3rd / 3600 W Henrietta Rd (CarMax) / 25-009154
On 01/14/25, deputies responded to the above location for a stolen vehicle report. The victim reports he purchased a 2014 Subaru Forrester and several other vehicles from CarMax during an auction. He made repeated trips to retrieve the vehicles from November 8th to the 11th, 2025. Upon arriving at the location to pick up the Subaru, he was informed it was no longer at the location.
Grand Larceny 4th / 305 Miracle Mile Dr (Dick’s Sporting Goods) / 25-009865
Dick’s Sporting Goods Asset Protection reports on 01/15/25, an unknown male suspect described as a 30-40 years old, wearing a black beanie, black winter facemask, blue Buffalo Bills jacket, and red pants entered the store and stole six baseball bats ($2,509.93). The suspect was seen leaving the location in a black newer model Chevrolet Traverse.
