PL / Wegmans 2157 Penfield Rd. / 25-95236

On May 22, 2025, at 2:25 PM, Wegmans' Asset Protection reported a shoplifting incident involving an unidentified woman in a blue surgical mask and black and blue jacket who stole a plant pot, several steaks, Pure Leaf tea, and a duffle bag cooler, totaling $585.78. The female passed all points of sale without rendering payment and left the location in a black Toyota vehicle.

 

PL / Target 2161 Fairport Nine Mile Point Rd. / 25-096744

Seanne M. Hennessey-Brown, a 66-year-old woman, is accused of shoplifting $189.88 in merchandise on May 24, 2025, at 8:54 p.m. She was arrested, issued an appearance ticket and released.

 

PL–Arrest / Walmart 1990 Brandt Point Dr. / 25-098697

On May 27, 2025, at 3:30 p.m., Nina Paulino (age 41) stole $82.91 in store merchandise from Walmart by concealing it in her purse. She was arrested, issued an appearance ticket and released.

GL 4th / Walmart 1990 Brandt Point Dr. / 25-099513

A white Ford Expedition SUV approached the victim around 4:04 p.m. on May 28, 2025, and a man started a conversation. The victim approached the driver’s side window, and a man tried selling him jewelry. The victim refused the man's attempt to put a necklace around his neck. As the van sped away, the victim discovered his $3000, 24K gold necklace—complete with a custom pendant—was gone. Video footage revealed a Pennsylvania license plate on the van. The victim also reported seeing a woman in the front and a person in the back who were trying to distract them.

PL / TOPS 1601 Penfield Rd. / 25-102275

On 6/1/25 at 2:49 p.m., two females exited TOPS with two full shopping carts of unpaid merchandise. The store manager witnessed this and followed the women out into the parking lot where they were loading the items into a white Nissan Rogue with a New York license plate. When confronted, the women left a shopping cart and some merchandise, which the manager recovered. Photos of the women were shared on MCSO's social media.

 

Stolen Vehicle / OGA 2nd Arrest / 25-103138

On 6/2/2025, shortly before 9:00 p.m., members of the Monroe County Sheriff's Office identified a vehicle reported stolen from Ontario County traveling on Panorama Trail in the Town of Penfield. A traffic stop was initiated and the driver of the vehicle failed to comply, resulting in a short vehicle pursuit. The vehicle came to a stop, without further police intervention, in the area of Elmwood Av/Commonwealth Road in the Town of Brighton. Dejon O. Butler (age 26), and passenger John J. Pisano (age 38) were charged with OGA and CPSP 3rd.

$110.23 in merchandise was stolen by a woman on June 2, 2025 at 11:31 a.m., who then left the scene in a gray Toyota Rav4 displaying Pennsylvania license plates.

  

Perinton 

CM 4th with Added Info / Turk Hill Rd. / 25-094672

The resident at the address above reported seeing an unknown individual approaching his parked car on his CCTV footage at 10:20 pm on May 21, 2025. The suspect uses a long pry bar, or something similar, to break the vehicle's windshield. Following this, the suspect, approximately six feet tall and of slim build, dressed completely in black with a face mask and head covering, ran in a southerly direction. Deputies were on scene within minutes and checked the area. Deputy Marcucci documented in his report that it appeared to be a targeted attack for unknown reason.

 

ADDED INFO – On May 23, 2025 the victim found a note written on a plain white piece of paper in his mailbox stating, “You will take down that bullshit flag, or you will replace more glass. Pick one.”  The victim has two flags on his flagpole, an American flag with stripes of black, white, blue, green and red representing first responders and a second flag below which is a US Navy flag. It is unknown which flag the suspect is referring to.

Between 5/5/25 and 5/10/25, Natalie Brown (age 26) stole cash and credit cards from her coworkers' unattended wallets while at work. She subsequently used some of the credit cards at nearby businesses. On 5/27/25 Brown turned herself in at A Zone where she was processed and issued an appearance ticket.

Attempted GL 4th / Larkspur Lane / 25-100139

Between May 1 and May 29, 2025, the victim was the target of an online scam that compromised her phone and laptop. Believing she was speaking with a bank representative, the victim shared her information. Instructions were given for her to empty her bank account. At the bank, the teller prevented her transaction and convinced her it was a scam. The victim suffered no financial loss.

 

PL / Ace Hardware 3400 Monroe Ave.  / 25-103409

At 1:00 pm on June 2nd, 2025, two women stole Dewalt tools valued at $597. The suspects escaped in a red 2016 Jeep Cherokee. In an effort identify them, surveillance photos of the suspects were posted on MCSO Social Media.

 

Pittsford

PL / Marshalls 3340 Monroe Ave. / 25-094385

A female with dirty blonde hair, wearing a black jacket and cap, stole $517.66 worth of merchandise on May 20, 2025, at 9:27 p.m. 

  

Robbery 2nd / 3340 Monroe Ave. / 25-96026

On 05-23-25 at approximately 5:10 pm, A3 Deputies responded to the Marshalls, at the above address for the Robbery in progress. A suspect (female) loaded a cart full of items and exited the store without paying for them. As security attempted to stop the suspect, she pushed the security guard. The suspect was assisted by a female, later identified as Jeanine Hannah (age 37). Both females fled in a black Chevy Malibu. Deputies located two females matching the suspect descriptions, unloading items from a black Chevy Malibu outside of an address on Genesee St. One suspect fled while Hannah was detained without incident. Hannah was subsequently charged with Robbery 2nd & Petit Larceny. A wanted package will be generated for the remaining suspect.
