On 6/4/25 at 9:46 p.m. Benjamin R. Brown (age 37) stole about $76 in beer and food. The store had previously banned him. He was transported to MCJ and held for CAP Court.
Burglary 3rd & Petit Larceny / Wegmans 1955 Empire Blvd. / 25-105469
On 6/5/25 at approximately 6:23 p.m., a Wegmans employee states a male left the store after stealing seafood items totaling $256.94. The security officer recognized the suspect, Anthony Capadano, age 31, due to a recent ban from all Wegmans stores. Deputies subsequently detained Anthony and brought him back to Wegmans for a show-up, where he was positively identified. Anthony went to MCJ to await arraignment in CAP court.

On June 8, 2025, at 9:34 a.m., a woman between 30 and 49 years old, described as having shoulder-length black hair and wearing a white jacket and blue jeans, stole $466.48 of merchandise and left the scene in a gray sedan.

Anthony J. Tellez, aged 38, was caught shoplifting $449.59 in meat, groceries, and beer from Wegmans on June 10, 2025, at 3:42 pm. He was detained by security, issued an appearance ticket and released.

Assault 2nd / Fairport Rd. S. / 25-090234
At 3:15 p.m. on December 5, 2025, a 73-year-old man was in his truck in a parking lot. An 18-wheeler pulled in behind him, and an argument ensued. The driver of the 18-wheeler (5’4” medium build, mustache) punched the victim, causing injury before fleeing the scene.
UPDATE:
Through investigation, Deputy Wood developed a suspect, Jorge R. Ramos (age 50). Ramos turned himself in to at A Zone on June 4, 2025, and was arrested by Deputy Wood, who then brought him to CAP Court.
Grand Larceny 4th / CVS 1304 Fairport Rd. / 25-105538
The manager of CVS called to report on 6/5/25 between 4:20 p.m. and 4:30 p.m., three suspects entered the store, loaded numerous personal care/cosmetic products into reusable bags before exiting the store without paying and setting off the door alarm. The security camera footage was reviewed. The three suspects were described as being two males and a female in the age ranges of 26-35 years old. One male suspect had a large tattoo on the inside of his right forearm.

Making Graffiti / Apple Cinema 3349 Monroe Ave. / 25-104719
On June 4, 2025, a security guard reported that an unidentified individual spray-painted black graffiti on the building's exterior on June 3, 2025, between 10:34 a.m. and 6:52 p.m.
Robbery 2nd / 3340 Monroe Ave. / 25-96026
On 05-23-25 at approximately 5:10 pm, A3 Deputies responded to the Marshalls, at the above address for the Robbery in progress. A suspect (female) loaded a cart full of items and exited the store without paying for them. As security attempted to stop the suspect, she pushed the security guard. The suspect was assisted by a female, later identified as Jeanine Hannah (age 37). Both females fled in a black Chevy Malibu. Deputies located two females matching the suspect descriptions, unloading items from a black Chevy Malibu outside of an address on Genesee St. One suspect fled while Hannah was detained without incident. Hannah was subsequently charged with Robbery 2nd & Petit Larceny. A wanted package will be generated for the remaining suspect.
Update: On 6/6/25, Charlotte Pollock (age 32) was taken into custody for the above incident. Pollock was transported to MCJ for arraignment through CAP and was held.

Criminal Mischief 2nd / Myrtlewood Dr. / 25-108526
On June 9, 2025, shortly before midnight, deputies were dispatched to the aforementioned address regarding a recently damaged apartment window. According to the victim, her son woke her up at 11:00 p.m., because there was a loud crash downstairs. After arriving, the deputies saw glass inside the house, showing the window had been broken from outside, and the screen was off the frame. The victim's daughter said she believes her friend could be responsible for breaking the window.
Stolen Vehicle / Blue Avocado Ln. / 25-109281
The victim states on June 10, 2025, between 10:40 p.m. and 10:58 p.m., two unidentified suspects arrived in a dark sedan and entered a 2018 Kia Optima. The surveillance footage depicted both men getting into the Optima and interacting with the dashboard in a suspicious manner. After the Kia started, one man returned to the car they arrived in, and both vehicles then left the area.
Petit Larceny / Delta Sonic 2970 West Henrietta Rd. / 25-109552
On 06/11/2025 at approximately 8:35 in the morning, a male described as about 5’9”, 190 pounds, wearing a black shirt, black pants and black shoes entered the beer cooler of Delta Sonic. He left without paying after grabbing a dozen Coronas and a dozen Heinekens. The merchandise taken had a combined value of $83.76.
Petit Larceny / Grandstand Circle / 25-109633
The victim states that while he was at work on 06/10/25, an unknown suspect stole a Canon Shot V1 Camera valued at $899.00 from his front porch. The camera was delivered at about 10:16 a.m., and it was stolen before the victim came home at 4:00 p.m.
CPCS 7th / 3955 W Henrietta Rd. / 25-114926
Deputies stopped a 2011 Ford Explorer for a traffic violation on June 18, 2025. The driver, Brandon Buckner, was found to have a revoked driver’s license and an outstanding warrant from MCSO. A search of Brandon's car uncovered 26 pills that tested positive for amphetamines and 15 pills that tested positive for codeine. Inside the vehicle they also located a pellet gun, which Brandon said he uses at his security job.

Attempted Stolen Vehicle/Criminal Mischief / 2660 Chili Ave. / 25-112179
An unidentified person or group tried to steal a 2020 Kia Sportage from the complex's parking lot sometime between 11 PM on June 13, 2025, and noon on June 14, 2025. The window was shattered, the door showed signs of forced entry, the handle was detached, and the steering column was damaged. The attempt to steal the car by the suspect(s) was unsuccessful. Tech work was conducted in an effort to locate solvability factors.

The victim reports her vehicle has been keyed on several occasions between 6/3/25 and 6/17/25. A neighborhood canvas conducted with negative results.

Wegmans Loss Prevention discovered that a larceny occurred at that location on 06/04/2025 at about 9:45 p.m. Security camera footage shows a female wearing a white shirt and blue shorts placing numerous Hydro Flasks into a large reusable grocery bag and leaving the store without paying. The estimated value of the stolen items at approximately $700.00.

Lowe's Asset Protection reports that on 06/01/2025 at approximately 11:22 a.m. an unknown male wearing a black hoodie, blue hat, and gray sweatpants entered the store and stole various cleaning supplies and two Husqvarna chainsaws. The male then got into a gold Toyota Camry with NYS license plates and departed the location.

The victim reports that sometime between 5/1/25 and 6/11/25 an unknown suspect stole his tree stand from the woods.
