GL 4th / Wegmans 2157 Penfield Rd. / 24-225930

At 3:30 p.m. on December 19, 1924, the victim left her wallet and phone in a shopping cart in the parking lot. Upon realizing her mistake, she drove back, only to discover her wallet had vanished. Pictures of the potential suspect are now available on MCSO’s social media.

 

PL / Walgreens 1659 Penfield Rd. / 24-225946

On 12-19-24 at 9:05 p.m. a thin female wearing a gray hoodie and yellow hat accompanied by a second thin female wearing a black jacket and yellow hat, filled a cart with an assortment of cosmetic products, walked past all points of sale and exited the store via the main entrance/exit, without paying. They then left the area in a gray or black SUV. Stolen products are worth approximately $200. Interior security cameras captured images of both suspects. Still images have been posted to MCSO Social Media for an attempt to identify.

 

GL 4th / Camberly Place / 24-225151

On December 18, 2024, an 81-year-old woman received a phone call claiming her grandson was jailed and needed bail money. Though the scammer demanded $15,000, the victim could only manage $1500. The scammer had an unknown courier pick up the money. Investigation is continuing.

 

GL 3rd / Scribner Rd. / 24-224497

The victim reports on 12/2/24 she received an email to her Gmail account she believed to be from the Social Security Administration. As a result, she purchased $5,000 in Coach gift cards and $8,000 in lululemon gift cards from various locations, including Finger Lakes Premium Outlets in Waterloo and Eastview Mall. The information on the gift cards was then provided to three different phone numbers.

 

Attempted GL 3rd / Whalen Rd. / 24-227533

The victim reports on 12/21/24 she received a phone call from a male suspect claiming to be “Sgt. Brian Davis” from the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office. The caller informed the victim she failed to respond to jury duty in November, and there was a warrant for her arrest unless she paid a $4,237 fine. Upon realizing it was a scam, the victim wisely declined to share information or money with the caller.

 

PL / 2161 Fairport Nine Mile Pt. Rd. / 24-227697

On 12/22/24 at 6:06 p.m., two females entered the store and selected over $500 worth of children’s toys before leaving the location without rendering payment. The suspects left in an unknown make/model silver sedan.

 

PL / CM 4th / Delta Sonic 1841 Empire Blvd. / 24-227960

An unidentified person stole coins from an air machine by breaking the lock between 7:30 p.m. on 12-22-24 and 5:30 a.m. on 12-23-24.

 

PL Arrest / Walmart 1990 Brandt Point / 24-228114

Robert Frank Guido, a 38-year-old man, stole $210 worth of seafood, steaks, shrimp, and chips on December 23, 2024, at 11:20 AM. He was issued an appearance ticket and released in accordance with NYS law.

 

GL 3rd Stolen Vehicle / Penfield Crescent  / 24-228291

On 12-23-24 at 4:03 p.m. deputies responded to Woodcrest Dr. in the Town of Penfield for the report of suspicious activity. A witness saw two gray sedans pull up and stop in front of his house on Woodcrest Dr. He saw two younger males exit one vehicle wearing black masks and then getting into the other vehicle where two other males were waiting. The four males took off in that vehicle, leaving the other gray sedan behind. The witness took a picture of the vehicle leaving, which had a NYS Registration. Deputies ran the registration and found it returned to an address on Penfield Crescent Rd. Deputies responded to the address and spoke with the registered owner who verified her vehicle was stolen. The door handle was found where she parked her car prior to it being stolen. 

 

The other vehicle left at the location was a Hyundai Elantra reported stolen to a neighboring agency.

 

Criminal Mischief 3rd / 1183 Bay Rd (Julian’s Dry Cleaners & Laundromat)  / 24-228758

On 12/24/24 at 1:24 p.m., it was reported two males entered the location at and damaged the alarm system keypad. Surveillance footage captured the damage, revealing a middle-aged man in all black attire with a black hat and boots as the first suspect. Described as younger, the second man is wearing white work bibs, a black sweatshirt, a black Air Jordan logo baseball hat, and brown boots.

 

Pittsford

GL 4th / CM 3rd / St. Joseph’s Motherhouse 150 French Rd. / 24-226592

Between 6:00 p.m. and 6:25 p.m. on December 20, 2024, an unknown perpetrator smashed the victim's car window, taking her purse and credit cards. 

 

Petit Larceny / 3340 Monroe Ave (Marshalls) / 24-228811

On 12/24/24 at approximately 4:12 pm, deputies responded to a larceny that just occurred at the Marshalls at 3340 Monroe Ave. It was reported four females left in a U-Haul. Deputies located the U-Haul and conducted a traffic stop. Jahnay S. Green (18 yoa), Jeremysha T. Carter (31 yoa), Ayanna C. Emani (18 yoa) and Zaniyah K. Roberts (20 yoa) were taken into custody. The property stolen from Marshalls was located in the U-Haul along with stolen property from another location. All four females were arrested for Petit Larceny. Appearance tickets were issued for Pittsford Town Court.

Henrietta

Robb 1st / GL 4th / 4820 W. Henrietta Rd – Red Roof / 24-228469

On 12/23/24 at approximately 11:56 p.m., deputies were dispatched to the knife point robbery at the Red Roof Inn in the Town of Henrietta. The victim reported he is a LYFT driver and transported four people to the location. Upon arrival, the rear seat passenger held a knife to his throat and ordered him out of his vehicle, subsequently stealing it, along with the other three occupants. Deputies arrived and confirmed the vehicle, a black Chevy Malibu, was last seen traveling south on West Henrietta Rd. As deputies were investigating the incident, the vehicle was observed traveling north past the location. The driver ignored deputies' attempt to stop the vehicle and a pursuit was initiated.

The pursuit continued north into the City of Rochester. Ultimately, the pursuit ended when the vehicle slid into an unoccupied parked vehicle in front on Concord St. All four suspects in the vehicle ran away. Deputies, along with RPD officers, were able to take all four suspects into custody quickly. They were identified as the following:

(S1) 15-year-old male

(S2) 16-year-old male

(S3) 15-year-old female

(S4) 16-year-old female

 

All suspects were transported back to B-Zone for processing. They were all charged with Robbery in the 1st Degree and Grand Larceny in the 4th Degree. All four were arraigned in Family Court and remanded to Rush Detention Center on $1K/$5K/$10K.

 

Criminal Mischief 4th / 1035 Calkins Rd. / 24-229089

The victim states an unidentified suspect vandalized the driver's side door handle of his Kia Sorrento between 11:05 p.m. on 12/24/24 and 7:55 a.m. on 12/25/24. The vehicle remained locked and nothing was missing. Deputies canvassed the area for video surveillance with negative results. 

 

Petit Larceny/ Resisting Arrest/ False Personation / 1200 Marketplace Dr. / 24-229748

On 12/26/24, while at the above location, deputies observed Walmart Asset Protection attempting to stop a larceny in progress. AP was approaching a male, later identified as Evan Crittenden, who was attempting to leave the store without paying for merchandise. After seeing deputies, Crittenden attempted to walk away and go back into the store. Assisting deputies located a second suspect, later identified as Nakia Jefferson, also attempting to leave the location with stolen merchandise. During the investigation, Crittenden provided deputies with several false names before eventually being identified with the assistance of MCAC. Crittenden was released with an appearance ticket and Jefferson was turned over to RPD on an outstanding bench warrant. 

Grand Larceny 3rd / Town Centre Dr. / 24-229805

The victim states her 2019 Kia Forte was stolen by an unknown suspect between 2:15 p.m. on December 26, 2024, and 12:03 a.m. on December 27, 2024. The vehicle was locked and the keys were on her person. Broken glass was located where the vehicle had been parked. MCSO was later notified by Brighton Police that they had arrested an individual, who was found operating the stolen vehicle. 

 

Burglary 2nd/ Petit Larceny / 700 Commons Way Room 327  (Extended Stay) / 24-229840

The victim reports on 12/25/24, she purchased a PS5 Slim from a male named “Jonny”, whom she had met through Facebook Marketplace. She continued to talk with Jonny after the transaction and the two of them hung out the night of 12/26/24. Jonny came over to her hotel room and proceeded to drive her to a house in the city of Rochester. During that time, the two became involved in a verbal altercation, and Jonny dropped her off at the 7-Eleven on Culver Rd. Upon returning to her hotel room, she noticed the PS5 Slim was no longer at the location. She believes Jonny stole the item while at the hotel room or after dropping her off at the 7-Eleven due to him knowing she doesn’t lock her hotel room. The victim does not want Jonny to be prosecuted, and she only wants her property back. 

 

Car Larceny / W. Henrietta Rd. / 24-230590

An unidentified male suspect stole a purse from a 2015 GMC Terrain on 12/28/24 at 4:05 in the morning after entering the vehicle through an unlocked door. The surveillance footage shows the suspect wearing a dark jacket, dark sweatpants, and work boots. The victim’s purse contained her Michael Kors wallet, Venmo debit card and visa credit card. It appears the suspect arrived and left on foot. 

 

Stolen Vehicle / Calkins Rd. / 24-229917

On December 27th, 2024, between 4:06 a.m. and 5:06 a.m., an unidentified perpetrator took the victim's 2021 blue Kia Sportage. The victim left the vehicle unlocked, and the keys were inside their home. The vehicle was later recovered on Post Ave. in the City of Rochester. 

 

Petit Larceny / 3333 W Henrietta Rd (Harbor Freight) / 24-230637

A Harbor Freight employee reports on 12/28/24, two unknown suspects entered the store and stole two welders. The suspects were seen leaving the location in a green Honda CRV.
