The vehicle was locked and equipped with a steering wheel lock, and he was still in possession of the vehicle's keys. RPD located the vehicle parked on Pierpont St.

PL’s / Willow Pond Way Neighborhood / 24-055512
The Willow Pond Way neighborhood in a Zone has experienced multiple instances of car thefts on at least 10 different dates since 2-13-24. On 3-29-24 at about 3:40 am, MCSO deputies observed individuals committing car larcenies in the neighborhood. All three suspects ran and were subsequently apprehended. Two suspects were Juveniles and each charged with petit larceny. Omarion Lebron (18 yoa) was also charged with PL and released on an appearance ticket in accordance with NYS law.
Harassment 2nd / Dunkin Donuts 1802 Penfield Rd / 24-058140
On 4-2-24 at 6:49 pm, an 18-year-old woman was working the drive through at Dunkin Donuts. She served a customer (suspect) who had ordered hot chocolate with whipped cream in the drive through. The suspect was a woman in her mid-20s, 5’3”, heavy build and a round face. The suspect complained about the amount of hot chocolate because of the amount of whipped cream. She was offered a small cup of additional hot chocolate in addition to the medium she was already served in an effort to make up for this concern. The suspect became angry and threw the hot chocolate back on the 18-year-old employee and drove off. The suspect was driving a Mercedes Benz CL550, color black with tinted windows.

Between 9:00 pm on 3/21/24 and 9:00 am on 3/22/24, unknown suspect(s) entered the victim’s unlocked rental vehicle, a 2023 Hyundai Kona and stole her identification from her purse.

On 3-24-24 at about 12:30 am the victim and her husband received a call from who they believed to be Wells Fargo Bank. Their caller ID indicated to them it was Wells Fargo Bank. The suspect identified himself as a bank representative and kept the victims on the line for a couple of hours as he led them to believe there was fraudulent activity on their account. A number of transfers took place from their account to their Apple Wallet. At the end of the scam, the victims had lost $23,105.86.

On 3-25-24 at about 10:30 am, a woman presented a check for payment to the bank teller along with a NYS DL which matched the name on the check. When the teller noticed the check was fraudulent, the suspect exited the bank, leaving the check behind. Video of the suspect was submitted to MCSO Social Media.

On 3-26-24 at 7:15 pm a 25-35-year-old woman, heavyset wearing a mask, long sleeve red shirt and colorful pants accompanied by 25-35-year-old short woman, wearing a mask, white shirt and black pants stole 4 boxes of pampers diapers ($120 value – 2 boxes each suspect).

On 3-25-24 at 2:22 pm Jessica M Nichols (40 yoa) stole $108.38 in groceries by under-scanning items in self-checkout. She had previously been banned from Wegmans.

On 3/21/24 at approximately 12:09 pm, two unknown women entered the Pearl Vision and worked in concert to steal a total of five glasses' frames (3-Prada, 1-Gucci, and 1-Burberry) with a total value of $2,000. The first suspect was described as a heavyset woman between 30-50 yrs old with braids, wearing eyeglasses, blue jeans, and Ugg boots. The second suspect was described as a 20-30-year-old woman wearing eyeglasses, a surgical face mask, track pants, and Ugg boots. Photos of the suspects were posted to MCSO Social Media

Sometime between 3/23/24 at 3:00 pm and 3/24/24 at 4:00 pm, unknown suspects tried to hotwire the victims 2016 Hyundai Sante Fe, but were unsuccessful. They stole $30 cash from the car instead.

On 03/20/24, deputy responded to the above location for an attempted larceny report. The victim reported on 03/19/24 she received an alert on her personal computer telling her there was a virus and instructed her to call 206-687-9442. The victim contacted the number and spoke with a man who identified himself as “David Chan” with the Federal Trade Commission. He told her she was facing criminal charges because her computer was hacked and then was redirected to “Kevin” with the FBI. She was then instructed to withdrawal $30,000 from her personal bank account in order to resolve her legal issues. The victim did withdraw the money and has yet to hear back from the attempted scammers. The victim was informed by the deputy that this was a scam and for her not to give anyone her money.

On 03/24/24, the victim’s 2019 Kia Forte south-west parking lot of the Best Western Hotel. Additionally, the victim’s HP Laptop and Apple Air Pods were stolen with the vehicle. A witness reportedly observed a group of men and women near the vehicle prior to it being stolen.

Between 03/24/24 1:00 am and 03/24/24 0800 am, an unknown suspect stole $2,500 worth of clothing from the trunk of the victim’s vehicle. The vehicle was locked and there were no cameras in the area.

Between 03/22/24 4:00 pm and 03/24/24 3:55 pm, an unknown suspect stole the victim’s Government owned Hyundai Elantra from the parking lot. The vehicle has a tracking device, but numerous attempts to contact the service were unsuccessful. There were no cameras in the area and the victim stated he would notify MCSO if he was able to obtain a location of the vehicle.

On 03/25/24, an unknown man wearing a green doo-rag, black sweatshirt, grey pants and an unknown woman wearing a green sweatshirt, and black pants entered the DTLR Clothing store and stole $400 worth of clothing. The suspects then left the location in a brown Chevrolet Equinox.

On 3/2/24, deputies made a traffic stop and found passenger Brianna Gaddy (23 yoa) had an active warrant. Gaddy was handcuffed and walked back to the patrol vehicle, where she became aggressive and physical. Gaddy then struck a deputy twice with her knee. Additional charges of resisting arrest, obstruction of governmental administration, and harassment were lodged on her.

On the evening of 3/26/24, around 8:45, a man in his mid-30’s wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black shorts, and tan boots walked out of Big Lots without paying for five small appliances, according to the night supervisor. The suspect then entered a white Ford Econoline Van which was waiting with the rear doors open. A woman with black hair in a ponytail was observed in the back of the van with a possible third person in the passenger seat. After loading the merchandise, the suspect drove the van from the location toward Paul Rd. Out of the five stolen items, three were identified as a George Foreman electric grill, a Black and Decker toaster oven, and a Hamilton Beach coffee maker.

A man in his 30s, with loose, curly, short dreads, entered the Kwik Fill around 9:45 PM on 3/26/24, wearing a dark wind jacket and pants. He wandered around the store before heading to the checkout with a box of hot pockets. The man became upset when the cashier scanned the hot pockets, arguing that he had brought them into the store. The man wanted to buy two packages of Dutch premium cigarillos but couldn’t provide the required identification. When the cashier advised the man that he could not sell the items, the man grabbed them from the counter along with a sprite and walked out of the location while inviting the cashier to fight outside. He was last seen walking southbound on Old Scottsville Chili Rd.

On 3/23/24 at approximately 10:00 a.m., a man, about. 6’ tall, wearing a black hat, black pants, and flannel jacket, stole two DeWalt 20 volt Grease Guns ($299.99 ea.) and left in a gray or silver Nissan Sentra with unknown plates. The Nissan had a spare tire on the rear passenger side of the vehicle.
