On 4/10/25 at 1:19 a.m. Kyle T. Drexler (age 39) stole $55.98 worth of Corona beers from the above location. Deputies located the vehicle and stopped it on Empire Blvd. Drexler was positively identified on the show up, arrested and issued an appearance ticket.
PL / Target 2161 Fairport Nine Mile Point Rd. / 25-060931
On 4/3/24 at 11:26 a.m., two suspects stole 31 Stanley mugs ($755 value) before leaving in a red Dodge Charger. Deputies spotted the vehicle and attempted to pull it over, but the vehicle took off at a high rate of speed. Photos of the suspects were sent to MCSO Social Media for an attempt to ID.
UPDATE:
Deputies positively identified Fantasia Speed as one of the above suspects. On 4/15/25 she was located, arrested for Petit Larceny and released on an appearance ticket.

Sometime between 9:30 p.m. on April 14, 2025, and 11:30 a.m. on April 15, 2025, unidentified individuals vandalized the victim’s car by slashing three tires.

An older adult has been the target of an ongoing scam, emailing or handing over to couriers a total of $500,000.
PL / Wegmans 2157 Penfield Rd. / 25-067172
At 5:56 pm on April 11, 2025, two women stole $557.06 worth of steaks and seafood. One woman was approximately 5’8”, 250-300 pounds, wearing dark pants, a dark jacket, and an orange shirt. The other was about 5’3”, 150 pounds, with long black and pink braided hair and wearing camouflage pants and a puffer jacket. They left in a 2024 Jeep Compass.

On 4/3/25 at 7:00 a.m., deputies responded to the above location, where two unknown suspects arrived in a black Mercedes sedan with no license plates. A male occupant went through several vehicles parked in the shop's lot and stole some items, as well as two license plates. The suspect broke a shop window, stole the keys to a 2018 Volvo XC90, and drove away in it. The second suspect remained in the original vehicle they arrived in and left as well. On 4/18/25 deputies positively identified Jonathon Rivera Lopez (age 38) as the suspect who burglarized Universal Auto and stole the car. Lopez was arrested and held for CAP Court.
PL / Dollar Tree 1851 Empire Blvd. / 25-070802
On 4/17/25 at 4:45 p.m. Michelle L. Franklin (age 38) and Davon T. Thomas (age 34) stole $90.83 in property from the Dollar Tree and fled. Deputies quickly found the suspects in the vicinity. Both were arrested, issued appearance tickets and released.
ID Theft 1st / GL 2nd / Penbrooke Dr. / 25-070855
The victim states her PayPal account was hacked and a substantial debt accrued on it. Upon further review, she found there were deposits and withdrawals in late March / early April, leading to her account showing a debt of $74,283.40. There were numerous purchases of Bitcoin and the movement of funds.
PL / OGA 2nd / Resisting Arrest / Dollar Tree 1851 Brandt Point Dr. / 25-072879 / 25- 044153
At about 8:08 p.m. on April 20, 2025, officers were dispatched to the Dollar Tree in response to a report of a man stealing. Shortly afterward, deputies found a man fitting the suspect's description outside Walmart. When deputies informed the man, later identified as Tyrone D. Singletary Jr. (age 31) he was being detained, the male began actively resisting. Tyrone was charged with Petit Larceny, Resisting Arrest, and Obstructing Governmental Administration. He was issued an appearance ticket for the incident and taken to MCJ on an outstanding warrant out of Penfield.

On 4/17/25 at 3:10 p.m., two unknown suspects (a man with gray hair, a plaid button up shirt, and dark shorts and a woman with gray hair, medical mask on her face, black zip up sweatshirt, and blue sweat pants) stole merchandise valued at $570.22. They left in a gray Dodge Caravan.

PL – Oil theft / Pittsford Palmyra Rd. / 25-066778
Sometime between March 10 and April 11, 2025, an unknown number of suspects stole approximately 175 gallons of used cooking oil from the vat behind the business.
Pittsford
GL 3rd / Scam / Knobb Hill Dr. / 25-067216
Multiple suspects contacted the victim between January 1, 2024, and April 12, 2025, claiming he'd won money. In order to receive the prize, he has been buying gift cards and giving the scammers the money. In total, he has sent about $35,000.
Stolen Vehicle / GL 3rd / 3690 East Ave. / 25-070880
On 4/17/25 at 3:18 p.m., two unknown suspects arrived at the above location in a red 2018 Hyundai Elantra. The passenger exited the red vehicle and stole a white 2018 Hyundai Sonata. The white vehicle can be seen on CCTV backing out of the parking space. The red vehicle then pulls into the parking space and the driver jumps out of the red vehicle and gets into the white vehicle. The red vehicle was stolen from the City of Rochester earlier in the day.
EWOC and Exposure of a Person – Arrest / (Lock 62) 3349 Monroe Ave. / 25-072183
On April 19, 2025, between 3:00 p.m. and 3:43 p.m., Aaron M. Hinds (age 33) was seen on the Canal Path in the area of Lock 62 by four teenage females. Hinds was completely nude. A deputy spotted a man matching the description in a Subaru Forrester leaving the area. He was stopped and positively identified as the suspect. Hinds was taken to the Monroe County Jail to await arraignment in CAP court.
PL Arrest / Five Below 3349 Monroe Ave. / 25-071588
On 4/18/25 at 6:10 p.m., Jerome D. Hightower (age 25) stole merchandise from Five Below. He left in a blue Chrysler PT Cruiser. Deputies located the vehicle fleeing the scene and conducted a stop. Hightower was detained and taken back for a show-up which was positive. He was arrested, issued an appearance ticket and released in accordance with NYS law.

Chili
CPSP 3rd Arrest / Paul Rd. / 25-70356
On April 17, 2025, at 2:51 a.m., Monroe County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a residence on Paul Road in the Town of Chili for the report of a stolen Kia. During the investigation, a call came in for a domestic disturbance on Audino Lane involving the suspect of the stolen Kia. Upon arrival at Audino Lane, deputies located the stolen Kia with the keys still inside of it. Witnesses informed deputies the suspect was running through the apartment complex. Following a brief foot chase, deputies took Gregory Fingland into custody. Deputies were notified of a flatbed truck stuck in the mud near Fingland’s residence. After locating the flatbed, deputies discovered the truck was stolen out of the Town of Brighton and notified the Brighton Police Department.
Gregory R. Fingland, 44, of Chili is charged with:
- Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the Third Degree (Class D-Felony)
Fingland, who was released to New York State Parole supervision on April 10, 2025, was transported to the Monroe County Jail, arraigned in CAP Court and held without bail.
