The victim states while attempting to set up an account with Capital One, she discovered someone used her information to create an account. After reviewing her credit report, she discovered that someone had opened other credit cards in her maiden name, with an outstanding balance of $1,565.

PL / Starboard Side Lane / 24-87636

On 5-20-24 at 5:25 pm the victim received an Amazon notification his packaged arrived. As he went down to get the package, he witnessed a female in her 20s wearing scrubs, stealing it. The woman drove away in a Toyota Corolla.

PL / Wegmans 6600 Pittsford Palmyra Rd / 24-088177

At 1:25 pm on 5-21-24, a woman in her 30s or 40s, with brown hair and wearing a red shirt, gray jacket, and black pants, took $46.68 worth of merchandise. 

ID Theft 3rd / Valley Brook Dr. / 24-85579

The victim reported receiving a bill from Verizon Wireless for $266.71 in mid-April 2024. It’s troubling because he is with T-Mobile and doesn’t have a cell phone plan with Verizon.

GL 4th / French Rd. / 24-84247

Between 5:00 pm on 5/14/24 and 6:30 am on 5/15/24, someone entered the victim’s unlocked vehicle parked in the driveway and stole items from inside. Taken was a Kwik Fill Visa credit card, a gold wedding band, a gold ring with 5 diamonds, a SUNY Brockport class of 2011 ring, and his Work ID with key.

On 5-18-24 at 6:45 pm an unknown man with a beard wearing a red t-shirt, khaki shorts, and a navy “boonie” style hat and a woman wearing a black t-shirt and patterned leggings stole $1482.63 in various shoes and clothing items.

At 10:52 am on 5/16/24, an unidentified man in his thirties, slim with a beard and wearing a black winter hat, stole men’s clothing valued at $178.93.

On 5-12-24 at 11:11 am an unknown man, no further description, stole $304.82 in men’s and children’s clothing.

Grand Larceny 4th/ Identity Theft 3rd / Upton Park / 24-084397

The victim lives in a nursing home and on 05/14/24, between 8:00 and 9:30 in the morning, an unknown suspect entered his room and stole some of his personal items, including his NYS ID, social security card, and various credit cards. Capital One alerted him to fraudulent activity on 05/15/24, revealing that his property had been stolen.

On 05/15/24, the victim was notified by KeyBank (12 Spencerport Rd, Gates) that an unknown man was attempting to cash a check in his name in the amount of $1,000. The bank declined to cash the check after the man, who identified himself as the victim with a NYS ID, acted suspiciously.

Wegmans’ Asset Protection reports on 05/15/24, an unknown man wearing a black beanie and black tracksuit entered the store and stole $180 worth of merchandise. 

Petit Larceny / 2350 Marketplace Dr. (Lowes) / 24-084514

Walmart Asset Protection reports on 05/15/24, an unknown woman with red hair and a birthmark under her right eye, entered the store and stole two Craftsman pruning saws. The suspect was seen leaving the location in a blue 2019 Alfa Romeo SUV.

On 05/16/24, an unknown individual entered Kohls and stole three pairs of jeans. She was seen leaving the area in a dark-colored sedan.

Criminal Mischief 3rd / 1225 Jefferson Rd (Avis/Budget Rentals) / 24-085084

Avis/Budget employees report between midnight on 05/10/24 and 11:00 a.m. on 05/16/24, an unknown suspect damaged the rear window of one of their vehicles. Pry marks were found around the window.

Criminal Mischief 3rd / Winton Rd / 24-086702

On 05/19/24, at 1:41a.m, an unknown man about 20 years old, wearing a light gray hoodie with black markings, damaged a Kia Sportage. The suspect had previously knocked on the victim’s apartment door and asked him for a flashlight. Shortly after, he observed the suspect hiding behind his vehicle before leaving the location on a bicycle.

On 05/19/24, at 10:50 a.m., deputies responded to the above location for the report of two men stealing tires. The initial individual had on a black t-shirt, black shorts, and black hat, while the second person sported a white t-shirt, blue jeans, and a blue hat. They arrived in a white Chevrolet pickup truck. During the larceny, security contacted the suspects via the camera system, causing the men to flee.

Dick’s Sporting Goods reports on 05/18/24, an unknown suspect entered the store and stole $368 worth of Merchandise.

Sometime between 05/18/24 at 9:00 a.m. and 05/19/24 at 8:30 a.m., an unknown suspect stole a 2017 Hyundai Sonata. The vehicle reportedly was locked and also had a wheel lock on the front passenger tire.

On 05/19/24, while the victims were doing roofing work at the above location, they observed an unknown man in a hooded sweatshirt walking away from their work vehicles. The victims went to check on their vehicles and noticed many items were stolen (Milwaukee backpack, wallet, various credit cards, DeWalt portable saw, Rigid Pro Press). The man was seen carrying the victim’s backpack and leaving the location in a silver Hyundai SUV.

The victim reports sometime between 05/19/24 at 6:00 p.m. and 05/20/24 11:00, an unknown suspect stole her 2018 Kia Sportage. The vehicle was reportedly locked and had a club on the steering wheel.

A manager for Price Rite reports on 05/19/24, an unknown woman entered the store and stole merchandise. The suspect left the location in a red Dodge Journey.

Petit Larceny / 1200 Marketplace Dr (Walmart) / 24-087477

On 05/20/24, an unknown individual entered Walmart and stole several packages of meat before leaving the location in a red GMC Acadia. It is believed the same man took part in other larcenies that occurred on 05/18/24.

Grand Larceny 4th / 2350 Marketplace Dr (Lowes) / 24-087565

On 05/20/24, the victim accidentally left his wallet inside the restroom at Lowes. Upon returning to retrieve it, the victim noticed that $500 cash and various credit cards were no longer there.

CPCS 7th/Petit Larceny / 1200 Marketplace Dr (Walmart) / 24-087752/24-087771

On 05/20/24, a deputy responded to the above location for a larceny in progress. Upon his arrival, the deputy detained a man and identified him as Brandon Robb. During a physical search of Robb, the deputy located two clear containers with a clear/white crystal rock-like substance inside them. A field test was conducted and the substance tested positive for the presence of amphetamines. Robb is charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th and Petit Larceny.

Grand Larceny 4th / 1200 Marketplace Dr (Walmart) / 24-087674

On 05/20/24, deputies responded to the above location for a larceny in progress. Walmart reported an unidentified man stole over $1,000 in merchandise and left the location in a Ford Escape. Deputies located the vehicle in the area of Clay Rd. and Marketplace Dr. and conducted a traffic stop. The driver is identified as Deven Green and is charged with Grand Larceny. He was arraigned and remanded to the Monroe County Jail because of his predicate felon status.

Auto Stripping/Criminal Mischief 3rd / Loden Ln. / 24-088649

Between 9:30 p.m. on 05/21/24 and 9:00 a.m. on05/22/24, an unknown suspect stole the mirrors off of the victim’s 2021 Mercedes Benz van and his 2019 Toyota Sienna. Additionally, the victim discovered the hardware, mounts and other parts near the mirrors were damaged.

On 05/22/24, an approximately 50-year-old man wearing a white t-shirt and blue jeans entered the store and stole merchandise. The male left the location in a green Honda.

Petit Larceny / Meadow Farm N. / 24-084540

Sometime between 5/13/24 at 7:00 p.m. and 5/15/24 at 2:00 p.m., an unknown suspect entered the victim’s 2021 Chevrolet Trail Blazer and removed property. The stolen items include the vehicle’s NYS registration, the victim’s college parking permit, the vehicle owner’s manual, and medication for the victim’s dog.

Petit Larceny / Black Creek Rd. / 24-084557

Between 3/15/24 and 5/15/24 an unknown person removed collector’s items from a safe the victim keeps in his room. He is missing $20.00 in stamps, a 1972 penny valued at $20.00, a limited release $20.00 bill, and $400.00 worth of collector’s pennies and half dollars. There were no other items removed from the safe, but other documents appeared to have been moved. The safe itself, was not damaged. The victim does have exterior cameras on his house and it is not believed anyone unlawfully entered the residence.

On or near 4/22/24 the victim received a letter from Verizon saying she was in default on an account and owed $1,610.66. She reached out to Verizon and learned an unknown individual opened an account in her name and attached four cell phone lines. She never had a Verizon account and her current service is through her husband’s business account.

Sweden

Petit Larceny / Talamora Trl. / 24-084427

Sometime between 10:00 p.m. on 5/14/24 and 7:00 a.m. on 5/15/24, an unknown suspect entered the victim’s unlocked 2017 Jeep Patriot and stole two laptops. One of the two laptops was found by NYS DOT somewhere in the area of Northampton Park on Brockport Spencerport Rd.

The victim is a meter reader and was in the area of the Bradford Manor Apartments reading meters on 5/15/24 between 8:30 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. She parked her 2014 Hyundai Tuscon at the location and it was gone when she returned. There was no visible evidence of forced entry.

An unknown suspect used the victim’s Kohl’s account to purchase a vacuum cleaner valued at about $120.00. When the order was placed, the shipping address was changed to a location in Oregon.
