On June 19, 1924, at 10:05 pm, an individual described as an "older man" unlawfully took 19 cans of 20 oz. Red Bull valued at $89.11 and fled in a 2006 Chevy Tahoe SUV.

CPSP 3rd / CPCS 7th / DWI / Empire Blvd / 24-107327

Deputies conducted a traffic stop of a 2014 Suzuki dirt bike operated by Joseriel Valladares, who is 30 years old, at 11:47 pm on June 20, 2024. Following a thorough investigation, Valladares was determined to be driving under the influence. During the search incident to arrest, deputies found Joseriel Valladares in possession of cocaine and the dirt bike was reported to be stolen. Bail was recommended because of the "harm to harm" provision. Valladares was arraigned in Penfield Town Court and was Released on his Own Recognizance.

Grand Larceny 4th / Helmsford Way / 24-107835

On 6/21/24 between 1:14 am and 4:00 pm, someone stole several items from the victim's unlocked vehicle. Taken was a blue/gray backpack containing a Garmin GPS and a key to the victim's boat. Also taken was a Nintendo Switch ($300) and a brown wallet. A witness described the suspect as a man between 45-50 years old with a shaved head wearing a t-shirt and jeans.

Between 8:00 pm on 6/20/24 and 6:00 am on 6/21/24, someone stole cash from the victim's unlocked vehicle parked in her driveway. A witness described the suspect as a man between 45-50 years old with a shaved head wearing a t-shirt and jeans.

On 6-20-24 at 3:37 pm, an unknown suspect stole a $161.10 package from the mailbox of the victim.

GL 4th / PL / Wegmans 2157 Penfield Rd / 24-110462

On 6-25-24 at 4:04 pm, the victim left her purse containing credit cards, phone etc. in her shopping cart in the cart return shed in the parking lot. When she left, an unknown suspect stole her purse.

GL 3rd / Stolen vehicle / Empire Blvd / 24-110125

At 1:08 am on 6-25-24, a man in a blue shirt, white shoes, tan pants, and a dark dew rag stole the victim's 2019 black Ford Escape. Video footage shows the suspect driving the car out of the parking garage. The suspect crashed and left the car behind 1129 Empire Blvd.

Burglary / Mattock Place / 24-109399

On 6/24/24 at approximately 2:24 am, deputies were dispatched to the above location for the report of an attempted burglary. The residents were sleeping at the time of the incident and woke to the sound of a loud bang, which was followed by the audible alarm of their security system. The victim went downstairs to investigate the noise and noticed damage to the front door. Entry was not made to the residence.

On 6-24-24 between 5:00 pm and 6:00 pm, the victim had his wallet and credit cards stolen from his unlocked vehicle.

On 06/24/2024 at about 8:18 am, the victim parked her 2023 Honda Pilot in the parking lot in front of the Inspire Crayons Campus Day Care at 101 Sully's Trail, Building #30. The victim left the vehicle unlocked and her purse on the front passenger seat. Approximately two minutes later, she returned and observed her purse was missing from the vehicle.

On 6-24-24 at 9:30 am, an unknown suspect stole $230.57 in beer and groceries.

The 84-year-old male victim was contacted by someone claiming to be "Publishers Clearing House" around May 19, 2024. The victim then sent the suspect $8000 in cash cards, which were communicated to him over the phone.

PL / Heather Heights Assisted Living 160 W Jefferson Rd. / 24-110372

Sometime between 6-12-24 and 6-24-24 while the resident was in the hospital, an unknown suspect stole her Oxycodone.

On 6-25-24 at 10:43 am, a man and a woman (no further description) stole clothing valued at $301.76. The suspects left the area in a Blue Chevrolet Equinox.

Petit Larceny / 2580 E Henrietta Rd (CVS) / 24-108851

An employee of CVS reports on 6/22/24, an unknown suspect entered the store and stole $600 worth of merchandise. Employees were unable to provide suspect video at this time.

Grand Larceny 4th / 2350 Marketplace Dr (Lowes) / 24-109493

On 06/24/24, deputies responded to the above location for a delayed larceny report. Lowes AP reports on 06/22/24, an unknown female (black shirt, beige pants) and an unknown male (black shirt, shorts, and blue hat) entered the store and stole $1,094.70 worth of merchandise. The suspects then left the location in a dark colored Nissan SUV. The license plate was switched off a 2004 Suburban and also suspended.

Grand Larceny 3rd / 64 Charleswood Dr. / 24-111808

On 06/27/24 deputies responded to the above location for a larceny report. The victim reports that sometime over the last year, about $6,900 of jewelry was stolen from her upstairs guest bedroom. She believes her husband’s caretaker, Jahnissa Huggins, may be responsible. Ms. Huggins is employed with “Angels in your Home” and has been taking care of the husband for about a year. Investigators gathered evidence and completed the arrest of Ms. Huggins.

On 06/27/24, between 4:05 pm and 7:30 pm, an unknown suspect entered the victim’s vehicle and stole her purse. She was at the above location for her dog’s surgery and believes she left the vehicle unlocked. The stolen purse contained numerous credit cards, which she immediately canceled.

Burglary 3rd / GL 3rd / CM 3rd / Weidner Rd. / 24-106315

An employee at Jeremiah’s Computer Store, LLC, is working on fixing things up to be used as rental space. Between 6/12/24 and 6/19/24, someone broke in and stole or moved several items from all three buildings. The items stolen are two kayaks, a free-standing AC unit, a vintage stove, a dryer, a heater, a mattress, a Delta table saw, three chainsaws, a hitch bike rack, a heater, a mini-fridge, and two tank-less water heaters. The cost of the damaged property is $1,050 and the value of the stolen property is $5250. Due to the size of some of the items stolen, it is unlikely a single suspect acted alone.

A store clerk at Speedway reports on 6/19/24 at 2:45 am, a man with black hair and a beard entered the store and asked to purchase a carton of Newport Cigarettes. The clerk retrieved the cigarettes and the man then asked for a pack of Black and Mild. As the clerk was retrieving the Black and Mild, the man reached across the counter, took the carton of cigarettes, and exited the store without paying. He left the area in an unknown direction and by unknown means. The stolen property is valued at $146.16.

CPCS 4th / Chili Ave. / 24-107341

Robbery 1st /CPW2/Petit Larceny / Chili Ave. / 24-107283

On 6/10/24, C Zone deputies responded to Wegmans for the report of a shoplifting robbery. Upon arrival, deputies located the suspect vehicle in the parking lot. The vehicle was occupied by a man and a woman. Deputies learned the man passed all points of sale with a cart containing merchandise without paying. When confronted, the man later identified as Daniel Pabon, threatened to shoot a Wegmans’ Loss Prevention employee. The Wegmans employee retreated and the male got into a 2011 Kia Soul. At near the same time, a female passed all points of sale with a cart full of merchandise. Loss Prevention attempted to stop the female, Tammy Babcock, but she refused to stop and continued to the same vehicle. Deputies were able to take both suspects into custody without incident and located a loaded .380 pistol inside the vehicle. Pabon has 9 felony arrests (2 convictions) and a bench warrant out of the town of Greece (CPSP). Babcock has 5 arrests and 2 felony convictions. A third individual, Anthony Sichterman, was with the pair but remained in the store during the robbery. He was stopped by deputies before he could exit the store and identified himself as the owner of the vehicle Babcock and Pabon had fled to. He admitted to possessing a quantity of crack cocaine and was arrested for such. Pabon, Babcock, and Sichterman were all arraigned in Chili Town Court. Sichterman was released with a court date, and Pabon and Babcock were remanded to MCJ without bail.

Petit Larceny / Chili Ave. / 24-109951

Wegmans’ Asset Protection reports they observed a woman select $80 worth of steaks and conceal them in a reusable grocery bag possessed by an unknown man. The two then exited the store without paying for the items. The man and the steaks were never located, but deputies caught up with the female, identified as Asia Stanin, in front of 3231 Chili Ave. She was transported back to Wegmans, where she was positively identified and arrested. Stanin was released with an appearance ticket in accordance with NYS law.

Petit Larceny / Rose Rd / 24-110208

The victim reports between 8:00 pm on 6/24/24 and 8:30 am on 6/25/24, someone entered her 2022 Hyundai parked in her driveway. Several items were stolen including a pair of earrings ($15), a plastic cup of coins ($15), a StubHub gift card ($100), two Sephora gift cards ($25), and a Lululemon gift card ($40). The total value of the items stolen is $200. The victim did not lock her car the night of 6/24/2024, and left her window down that night as well.

Assault 2nd / CPW 4th / Paul Rd. / 24-110917

The victim was in his driveway working on a “race car” when a black SUV pulled in and a male driver began to yell at him. The male stated, “I live across the street. I work nights. I’ve heard that car the last couple of mornings and I don’t wanna hear that car anymore. If I hear it again, I’m calling the Police. You’ll end up dead.” The victim approached the suspect and told him to leave several times, at which point the male retrieved a knife and slashed the victim’s upper right arm, causing a laceration about five to six inches and deep enough to expose fatty tissue. The suspect then fled the location as the victim yelled the license plate number to his wife. Investigation is ongoing.

Petit Larceny / Chili Ave. / 24-112011

Wegmans’ Asset Protection reports on 6/27/24 at about 6:25 pm, a suspect wearing a gray baseball cap, a black cross body bag, a white t-shirt, and blue shorts selected meat, Corona beer, and garbage bags. He then passed all points of sale without rendering payment and left the area in a gray or green Chevrolet Traverse. The value of the stolen property is $80.00.

Petit Larceny / Chili Riga Ctr. Rd. / 24-111348

On 6/26/24 at approximately 8:35 pm, the victim heard a male voice outside his house. When he looked outside, he did not see any people, but found his pride flag was taken from the front of the home. The flag was known to be in its intended location less than ten minutes earlier, and footprints were observed in the grass leading from Chili Riga Center Rd. to where the flag once was. Additionally, the pole the flag was attached was discarded in the yard. The victim’s partner has cameras on his car, which captured two unknown suspects walking down the road toward their house at 8:29 pm. The suspects are described as a man wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and black shorts and a man wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt and black shorts.

Sweden

GL 4th / Wellington Woods Dr. / 24-111202

The victim was contacted by an individual advising her of potential fraudulent charges to her Key Bank account. She spoke with a man who identified himself as a Key Bank employee and stated that their fraud department was unable to handle the issue and the Federal Trade Commission would be contacting her. Shortly after this conversation, she received a call from a man identifying himself as an FTC representative. He told her she needed to purchase two $500 Walmart gift cards and two $250 Target gift cards. According to the “FTC representative” this would allow for the purchase of US Bonds to secure her money. She purchased the gift cards, as instructed, and provided all the card information to an unknown man over the phone. She soon realized this may have been a scam and went back to Walmart to track the usage of the gift cards. They advised her the cards were used in Leesburg (unknown state).

Burglary 2nd / CM 4th / PL / Ladue Rd. / 24-112820

Sometime between 7:00 pm and 9:30 pm on 6/28/24, an unknown suspect forced entry through the front door of the residence and stole cash. The victim reports papers were moved around inside the house and $150 was stolen from an end table. Additionally, the suspect locked the dogs in a back room that they would not normally occupy.

Petit Larceny / Lake Rd. / 24-112891

A Mobil Gas Station employee reports on 6/29/24 at about 12:45 am, a man with a patchy mustache and goatee wearing a black knitted cap, gray sweatshirt with the hood up, and black/gray shorts entered the gas station. He selected two cases (120 bottles) of “5 Hour Energy” drink and 30 lighters, before leaving the store without paying. The total value of the stolen items is $463.50.

Hamlin

Insurance Fraud 3rd/GL 3rd/Falsifying 1st / Lake Rd. / 24-036419

Investigators learned Nicholas Stumpf registered a 2013 Infiniti G37 in the name of his business partner, Fernando Almira-Perez. The investigation showed after Stumpf totaled the Infiniti in a car-deer MVA, he asked Fernando if he could file the insurance claim in his name. Fernando agreed to this, and Stumpf posed as Fernando while calling to file the claim. Fernando was interviewed by Investigators and he admitted to this. With the help of the Tactical Unit and Community Services, Fernando was taken into custody in the City of Rochester on 6/20/24 and charged by B Zone and C Zone CIS for the above charges. A warrant was lodged for the same charges against Stumpf, who is still being housed at MCJ.

Petit Larceny / W Ridge Rd. / 24-106287

The Manager at Dollar General reports on 5/19/24 at approximately 10:30in the morning, a man entered the store and selected three cases of Red Bull energy drink. He exited the store without paying and left the area by unknown means. The loss to Dollar General is $216.00.

Petit Larceny / 7535 W Ridge Rd. / 24-106354

The reporting person is an employee at Speedway and on 6/19/24 at 2:10 pm, a thin man in his 20s, standing about 6 feet tall, and wearing a yellow hooded sweat shirt entered the store. He selected six boxes of candy with a total value of $325.81 and exited the store without paying. The suspect entered the passenger side of an olive green minivan before leaving the area.

Petit Larceny / 5550 Brockport Spencerport Rd. / 24-106115

On 6/19/24, at 8:25 am, the victim started his 2020 Mitsubishi Mirage and left it running in the driveway. Upon his return at 8:28 am, the vehicle was no longer there. Within several minutes of the vehicle being reported stolen, a larceny of Green Monster energy drinks was reported at the Byrne Dairy nearby. People who saw the larceny report that the suspect is a man driving a vehicle that matches the description of the stolen Mirage. The 72 stolen cans of Monster are valued at $236.88.

Petit Larceny / Blue Mountain Dr. / 24-108441

The victim states that she has been searching for a car to buy for her son. She was informed that a friend of a friend had a 2013 Honda Civic listed for sale on Facebook Marketplace for $2000.00. As a down payment, she was asked to Venmo "Juanisha-Hagens" $500.00 after reaching out and communicating about the car. Upon doing so, she was then required to pay an extra $500.00 for title and registration. She became suspicious and asks her friend to contact the "seller" directly. The male confirmed that he wasn't offering a car for sale and was unable to log into his Facebook account. Evidence suggests that a Facebook account has been hacked, leading to the victim’s probable loss of $500.00 due to the Venmo transaction being deemed a "friend to friend" payment.
