On 7/26/24 deputies responded to the above location for a larceny report. Asset Protection stated at approximately 2:53 p.m. a woman entered the store and placed several clothing items and an AC unit into a cart. A short time later, the woman pushed the cart past all points of sale without rendering payment. Asset Protection identified themselves to the female who refused to stop for them. The female then placed the items into a light blue Subaru Outback and got into the passenger seat of the vehicle. The vehicle left, heading towards RT 250. PL / Home Depot 750 Panorama Trail / 24-123370

On 7-14-24 at 3:13 p.m., Christian A. Robinson (49 yoa) and Sarah K. Nicholas (49 yoa) stole various merchandise including an air conditioner from Home Depot. Loss prevention attempted to stop both suspects after they passed the point of sale, but they simply ignored him and continued walking out of the store with the property where deputies were waiting for them. Both were arrested without incident and released on appearance tickets in accordance with NYS law.

On 7-5-24 at 11:45 a.m., the victim parked his vehicle behind the above location. An unknown suspect stole his wallet containing credit cards from the unlocked vehicle. A white SUV was identified as the suspect vehicle.

Construction Site Larceny / GL 4th / Robert Michaels Run / 24-123972

The address mentioned above is currently undergoing construction, with several other houses being built in the vicinity. Unknown individuals entered the aforementioned house under construction and stole (28) 16' Timbertech decking planks between 7-12-24 at 3:30 p.m. and 7-15-24 at 8:00 a.m. Total value equals $1800.

GL 3rd / Penbrooke Dr. / 24-124009

On 7-8-24, unknown suspects gained access to the victim’s bank account and transferred $20,000 out of his account and into another account. He believes he fell victim when he received a text from who he believed was the bank informing him that someone was trying to add a name to his account. He responded “No” which led to the breach.

Making Graffiti / New Wickham Dr. / Camberly Place / 24-124384

On 7-15-24 between 7:00 p.m. and 10:45 p.m., multiple garages had the doors spray painted with red and black paint. Area sidewalks were also spray painted. In addition, “DIKHEAD” and “SMD WORD2!” were spray painted.

On 7-14-24 at 8:04 p.m., a female (No further description) stole Tide pods, crab legs, corona and additional merchandise ($253.14). Security approached the female, who left the stolen merchandise and refused to stop. She then left in a black SUV.

4 7/21 2030 hours – 7/22 0457 hours – Suspects stole a 2024 Yamaha black motorcycle. Victim had possession of both sets of keys.

PL / Walmart 1990 Brandt Point / 24-122977

On 7-13-24 at 10:14 p.m. a man, later identified as Mark D. Estes, stole 20 S/D cards, a hat and markers ($366.08) from Walmart. Responding deputies located the suspect at 1910 Empire Blvd. He was found in possession of all the stolen property. He was arrested and released on an appearance ticket in accordance with NYS law.

COUNTERFIET “MOVIE PROP” MONEY

On 7-13-24 at 3:33 p.m., deputies responded to Sunoco for a male and female trying to use counterfeit money. Deputies located the suspects and identified them as Michael D. Oestreich (59 yoa) and Anastasha K. Peters (33 yoa). Both admitted to knowingly possessing fake money and using it. Both were charged with CPFI 1st (C Felony), arraigned in Penfield Town Court and were released on appearance tickets.

PL / Wegmans 6600 Pittsford Palmyra Rd. / 24-133557

On 7-30-24 at 3:13 p.m., a 20-40-year-old man, wearing a white tank top with red and blue horizontal stripes, blue jean shorts, glasses, a beard, and black and white Adidas sneakers stole meat and general merchandise. The male fled in a white Ford transport van.

On 7/18/24 the victim discovered $20,000 had been moved from her Money Marketing account to her checking account by an unknown person. In addition, she also discovered a $2,399.48 purchase was made from her checking account on the same date, at a store somewhere in the state of Georgia.

On 7-12-24 at 2:33 pm, a suspect stole Twisted Tea, Gatorade, Monster Energy and Red Bull (Total $207.30). The same male has stolen from Wegmans previously (5-5-24 24-078608 and 5-8-24 24-080301).

On 7-30-24 at 4:00 pm, Kenneth Tyrone Hysone Jr (38 yoa) stole $686.96 in meat and seafood from Wegmans. He was issued an appearance ticket and released in accordance with NYS law.

On 7-27-24 at 6:00 pm, a male wearing a red BJ's T-shirt stole 14 pairs of shoes valued at $305. Photos submitted to MCSO social media for help in identification.

On 7-26-24 at 153:00 pm, a suspect stole a back pack, men's shoes and men's clothing ($338.82).

Burg 3rd / PL Arrest / 3030 Monroe Ave. / 24-128075

On 7-22-24 at 1:33 pm, Cody L. Garrison (29 yoa), stole $90.93 in merchandise from Wegmans. Deputies located him fleeing down Monroe Avenue. He was previously banned from all Wegmans property, making this incident a Burglary 3rd charge. Garrison was released on an appearance ticket in accordance with NYS law.

Between 7-16-24 at 2:00 pm and 7-17-24 at 6:00 am, unknown suspects stole a pallet full of Top Shield, two-part roofing system ($1697). Although the material was under a tarp, it was sitting outside in the front yard of a house having work done and visible from East Ave.

On 7-17-24 at 12:40 pm Lamin Tarawally (31 yoa) stole $101.94 in miscellaneous electronic devices by under scanning at self-check-out. Security tried to stop him, but he ignored them and kept walking. Deputies spotted the male on Monroe Avenue, detained him and identified him as Tarawally. He was arrested, charged with Petit Larceny, and released on an appearance ticket.

On 7-14-24 at 6:07 pm, a 6’0, 210 lb., bald man with blue eyes stole $328.71 in merchandise. Loss Prevention approached the male, and he left the property and fled.

Between 07/22/24 at 3:30 pm and 07/23/24 5:30pm, an unknown suspect stole the victim’s black Ozark Trail mountain bike.

Grand Larceny 4th / 3150 W Henrietta Rd (Kohls) / 24-129654

Kohls Asset Protection reports on 07/24/24, an unknown male wearing a black shirt, black hat, tattoos, and beard and an unknown male wearing a green polo shirt, black and white hat, and gray pants entered the store and stole $1,413.75 worth of clothing. When confronted by AP, the males left the location in a blue 2017 Nissan Rogue.

BJ’s Asset Protection reports on 07/22/24, an unknown male (dark clothing, baseball hat, and sunglasses) entered the store and stole 64 boxes of assorted candy.

Petit Larceny / 2580 E Henrietta Rd (CVS) / 24-128116

CVS reports on 07/22/24, an unknown black male (camouflage shirt, bandana over his face) entered the store and stole $580.13 worth of merchandise.

Petit Larceny/Criminal Mischief 3rd / 25 Greenleaf Ct (RIT) / 24-128056

On 07/22/24, deputies responded to a construction site at the above location for a delayed larceny report. A number of contractors stated that they had left different tools at the site and those tools were taken. The video footage revealed two unknowns males arriving at the location in a red minivan (license plate unknown). The males cut a hole in the fencing area, throw on two yellow safety vests and proceed to steal the tools.

Burglary 2nd/ Grand Larceny 4th / John St. / 24-128292

On 07/22/24, between 9:30 am and 8:10 pm, an unknown suspect entered the victim’s apartment and stole her Apple iPad and Nintendo Switch. When she got back home, she noticed open drawers and things out of order, but there was no evidence of a break-in. In addition, she found a plastic cup that she suspects belonged to the perpetrator. The victim was able to track her iPad to 1273 Chili Ave. (Motel 6).

GL 4th /Club House Dr. / 24-125982

On 7/18/24 at approximately 1100 a.m., a male suspect wearing a blue baseball cap, tie dye long sleeve shirt, black pants, and white sneakers was seen on home security footage removing a package from the front porch of the victim’s home. The surveillance camera also captured the suspect vehicle, which seems to be a white Lincoln MKX. Inside the stolen package was a new iPhone 15 Pro valued at $1099.99. The package was delivered by FedEx at 10:30 a.m. The victim provided pictures of the delivered package from FedEx as well as an invoice for the phone.

Stolen Vehicle / King Rd / 24-126119

On 07/18/2024 at approximately 5:48 pm, deputies responded to King Rd. (Automotive Endeavors) in the Town of Chili for the report of a stolen vehicle. The stolen vehicle was a Chevrolet Silverado that had been parked at the shop. The truck was parked at the location for several months. It was located in the eastern end of the parking lot and had not been moved in a long time. There was no glass in the parking lot where the vehicle was sitting. There were tire marks from the vehicle's location through the grass and heading eastbound down King Rd.

Petit Larceny / Chili Ave / 24-127969

Target Asset Protection reports they observed a suspect select a backpack from the store and fill it with five packs of underwear prior to exiting the store without paying. AP attempted to stop the male near the front door and he responded, “I know you can’t touch me” before continuing across the parking lot toward Chili Avenue. The value of the stolen property is $144.95.

ID Theft 2nd / GL 3rd / King Rd. / 24-128691

The victim reports between 7/16/24 and 7/18/24 his Tompkins Bank checking account saw three unauthorized electronic withdrawals totaling $7000. He believes his cell phone was hacked and a new administrator was assigned, giving suspect access to his credit and banking information. The victim is working with Tompkins Bank and has been issued new account numbers, but he continues to receive emails indicating that he has been signed up for Chime, Remity, Venmo, Vero, Crypto, and X-World Wallet services.

Petit Larceny / W Forest Dr. / 24-129450

On 7/24/24 at about 12:20 pm, deputies responded to the report of a white Lincoln SUV and a black Honda sedan driving recklessly in the area. Upon arrival, the victim reported a FedEx package containing three iPhone 15 Pro cell phones stolen from her front porch by an occupant of one vehicle. Deputies reviewed Ring camera video, and it appears the individuals in the two vehicles were acquainted with each other. Additionally, this incident follows a trend emerging across New York State, where iPhones are stolen within minutes of FedEx delivery.

Counterfeit Cash / Chili Ave. (Dollar General) / 24-130685

On the evening of 7/25/24 an unknown suspect went into the above Dollar General and purchased a $200 Visa Gift card using (2) $100 bills. Once the morning deposit was made on 7/26/24 the bank notified Dollar General, the bills were counterfeit.

The victim parked her 2017 Hyundai Sonata outside her house on 7/13/24 at midnight. At 12:35 am, the victim’s father returned home to find that the victim’s driver side window was smashed and the steering column was destroyed. Nothing was reported missing from the vehicle, but the damage caused is valued at approximately $225.00.

Robbery 1st / Brockport Spencerport Rd. / 24-123288

On 7/14/24 at approximately 12:27 pm, deputies responded to Walmart for a fight involving weapons. It was soon learned that a suspect, approximately 20-30 years old, selected a cart full of meat and exited the store without paying. Another shopper observed this and followed the male outside to confront him. While doing so, the male pulled a box cutter out and pointed it toward the shopper. In response, the shopper brandished his legally owned pistol and ordered the male to the ground. The suspect dropped the box cutter and continued to load a portion of the stolen meat into a waiting Toyota Venza hatchback, which was occupied by an unknown woman. He climbed into the driver's seat and fled the location at a high rate of speed. Several attempts at stopping the vehicle were made, but the pursuits were ultimately canceled as the degree of recklessness from the suspect increased.

Walmart Asset Protection learned that on 7/15/24 at approximately 2:36 pm, an unknown female used a counterfeit $100 bill to make a purchase. The female suspect left the store with $28.35 worth of merchandise and $71.65 in cash. She returned on 7/18/24 and attempted to pass another counterfeit $100 bill, but the cashier recognized it as a fake and returned it. The suspect then attempted to pay with a credit card, which was declined, so she left the store with no merchandise.

Petit Larceny / Lake Rd., E. Fork / 24-122883

Sometime between 7/11/24 at 8:00 am and 7/13/24 at 6:15 pm, an unknown suspect removed the black mini Kota trolling motor from the boat which is docked in the creek behind his property. The motor was not bolted to the boat and was easily removable. The victim values the stolen property at $450.00.
