On 8-13-25 at 5:36 pm MCSO deputies had Atlantic Ave EB closed for an MVA investigation. Nahum O Marshall (42 yo) drove up to a deputy who told Marshall the road was closed and why. Marshall ignored the directive and drove through the roadblock. He was followed and pulled over. He provided his license. When deputies attempted to detain him he took off and pulled into his driveway. He resisted arrest, was taken into custody and released on an APT.
Criminal Trespass 2nd /Penfield Rd./25-161892
Victim reported that on 8/20/25 at 1:13 am she woke to the dog barking, and she heard creaking on the stairs. She also received a notification on her phone informing her that someone was inside of the “tv room” of the home. She awoke her husband and daughter and had them hide in the room while she used her phone to live view her cameras. She received another notification at 1:15 am of someone being in the mud room, and upon viewing the live feed observed an unknown person inside of the residence. No signs of forced entry were observed, and nothing was reported to have been missing/distrubed. A perimeter was established, K9 and drone were asked to respond. Case remains under investigation.

On 8-19-25 at 1:54 a.m., the homeowner of the above address woke up to hearing noises outside of his house. He went to inspect and saw a male running from the residence. Deputies responded and found that the window at the rear of the residence had the screen mesh removed. Deputies also located property from the garage.

Criminal Mischief 3rd / Wexford Pl. / 25-161311
The victim reported that on 8/19/25 at approx. 2:00 am he heard glass breaking outside accompanied by the voices of two unknown males. Upon going outside to investigate, he observed two unknown men wearing dark hoodies and face coverings sitting inside of his 2023 Kia. He yelled at the two individuals, who then got out of his vehicle and fled south through the complex. The rear driver’s side window, driver’s side door handle, and steering column were all found to be damaged.
Burglary 2nd / GL 3rd / Creek St. / 25-161357
On 8-19-25, between 3:30 a.m. and 6:15 a.m. the victim and his girlfriend were asleep in their house. The suspects broke into their locked house, stole their car keys and then stole their two vehicles.

An investigation was opened in October 2024 as Vision Auto Group reported that $5,777 was stolen from their business account. The suspect was identified as Kevin Whitman (age 28). The transaction occurred on 10/11/24. As a result of the investigation, it was found that he had fraudulently tried to buy a truck. Whitman passed an altered check from a closed account for $2,000 and provided a fake wire transfer receipt for $102,599.15. On 8/19/25, Inv. Cubiotti took him into custody. She arrested Kevin for the above charges in the Town of Penfield and transported him to MCJ for CAP.

Between 8/15/25 8:30 a.m. and 8/1925 at 9:30 a.m. unknown suspects threw a rock through a large window. Damage is estimated by the homeowner as $5000.

PL/ Pittsford Palmyra Rd. /25-160919
An employee of Buffalo Biodiesel, had gone to the above location on 8/18/25 to empty the container of used cooking oil. He stated that the container was found to be empty, but that it should have been full as it was last emptied 5 weeks ago.

The suspects entered the house and stole the keys to the 2025 Toyota Sienna between 6:35 p.m. on August 20, 2025, and 3:30 p.m. on August 22, 2025. Nobody was home at the time.

On 8/25/25 at 3:02 p.m., a suspect stole $216.86 in merchandise. This was seen on video by Loss Prevention.
OGA 2nd / Harrasment 2nd / Pedestrian on Expressway Rt. 590 / Rt. 490 / 25-166641
On 8/26/25 at 6:09 p.m., a deputy stepped out with a female on the expressway. Multiple calls were made to 911 regarding the female. The deputy spoke to the female, and she was uncooperative. When told she could not be walking on the expressway, she stated she didn’t care. She was offered a ride to a destination in the Rochester area, she refused. While being placed in the back of the deputy’s car, the suspect kicked the deputy in the stomach. She was identified as Sydney R. Hall (age 26). She was issued an appearance ticket and released in accordance with NYS law.

At 1:31 p.m. on August 26, 2025, Marshalls employees contacted authorities about a shoplifter who had exited the store. Deputies made an arrest after finding a man who fit the description. The male was identified as Joshua Colville (age 38). Colville was issued an appearance ticket and released.

On 08/12/25, Wegmans Loss Prevention reported while reviewing surveillance video that he found on 08/11/25 at 7:21p.m. a female entered the store, selected several cases of beer and passed all points of sale without rendering payment. The total value of the beer was $108.43. The woman was described as 20-25 years of age, 5’8, 180 lbs, wearing a white shirt and blue jean shorts. She left the area in a blue 2014 Subaru Legacy.

On 08/14/25, deputies responded to KWIK Fill for a delayed larceny report. The manager states an employee was observed on video stealing money from the cash register on 08/01/25 and 08/02/25. The total amount of cash stolen was $228.
Grand Larceny 4th / Chatwood Ln. / 25-158419
On 08/14/25, deputies responded to the above location for a delayed larceny report. The victim reports on 01/23/25, an unknown person had made two purchases with her Best Buy credit card that totaled $1,079. She retained possession of her credit card, and the transactions originated from Best Buy's online platform.

The victim reports that between 08/16/25 and 08/17/25, an unknown person slashed the driver side tire of their vehicle.
Grand Larceny 4th / 660 Jefferson Rd. / 25-165782
Old Navy Asset Protection report on 08/22/25, two unknown women entered the store and stole $1,026 worth of clothing. The first suspect was wearing a blue jean jacket, yellow shirt, black pants and a black baseball hat. The second was wearing a blue shirt, black pants and blue Croc shoes. AP states the second suspect is the same individual who stole from the store on 08/14/25. Suspect photographs were sent to MCSO social media for an attempt to ID.
