From the 12/2/24 Daily:

A Wendy’s employee reports that on 12/1/24 at about 10:30 a.m., she served an order at the drive-through to a man and a woman driving a white pickup truck. Several minutes later, the truck circled back and reported their order was wrong. When they were informed Wendy’s does not offer refunds, the female exited the truck, pulled the drive-through window open and pepper-sprayed the store manager. The truck then pulled around the building and the female attempted to enter the locked doors while engaging in an argument. Another employee opened the door and brandished a Taser. In response to this, the male pulled the truck closer to the building and approached the building with what appeared to be a black pistol. He retrieved it in such a way that it was obvious he had it, but then he held it behind his back while approaching the building. Both suspects ultimately left the location in the 2018 Ford F350 when the employees retreated into the restaurant to hide.

UPDATE:

Deputies spoke with suspects Zachary Wallace and Kayla Bellis and they both made admissions to the alleged actions. Zachary added that what he retrieved was a “Non-lethal Byrna gun,” and that he thought he may need to protect himself or Kayla from the threat of being Tased. Both turned themselves in and were released with appearance tickets.
